We wanted to express our thanks to you and your company for the excellent visit you arranged for us. Despite the very oppressive weather conditions (it was 40 degrees on the second day we were in Shanghai) we had a wonderful relaxed and interesting holiday.
Both Jacki and Hansom were excellent in their respective roles of guide and driver. They were not only skilled and knowledgeable but extremely pleasant and interesting to be with.
The hotel was of a very good standard- good room, good service and good breakfast. The internet booking process was prompt and efficient. We did not understand that we would have our own driver and guide- thi was a real surprise and bonus!
We would be happy for our thoughts to be used in tour tour promotional material. We will certainly be recommending you to friends here when they are considering visiting Shanghai.

I thought it best to drop you a line to thank you for all the arrangements for our recent trip. The guides, the itinerary, and all arrangements were as well as could be expected and indeed better. The efficiency was as good as if not better than we have experienced in far more expensive cruise tours/trips. At every location we had a guide waiting and luggage was transferred to a waiting vehicle and delivered to the hotel or the River Cruise ship as appropriate. Each internal flight was well organised in that whilst there was concern at not having any travel documents this was clearly unwarranted as the guides not only helped us to check in but did not leave until we were safely booked in, with boarding passes. Special mention needs to be made of the guide at Yichang where our flight to Shanghai was delayed by several hours owing to fog at the airport, where the incoming flight could not land and we were provided with the guide's mobile number and an assurance to the effect that it was his responsibility to get us to Shanghai and even though he had another group of tourists to look after he would keep himself available in case alternative arrangements became necessary. One of the guides (at Beijing) even took care to ensure that there were bottles of drinking water available to all of us whilst we walked long distances (in warm weather) covering say Tianmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Summer Palace or the Great Wall. This was not expected but was welcome. The flexibility offered in arrangements being made for say attendance at an acrobat show or a Kung Fu show or to attend markets or massage places was absolutely superb. Three out of five of us were over 60 but the trip was comprehensive, allowing us to see most of what one could expect to see and well paced out so that it was not tiring at any stage. In fact we were able to take up many of the options such as climbing to the top of the Wild Goose Pagoda at Xian and the steeper part o f the Great Wall at Badalin. Although food was a problem for some of us the overall trip was better than one could have expected and we can only thank you for makings it such a superb and memorable trip. Quite apart from the friendliness of the Chinese people we were struck with how honourable everyone was in their dealings and none more so than yourselves. Thank you.

We just got home yesterday and are adjusting to the time zone at home, but wanted to get a note off to you about how phenomenal your guides were in China, and how having the arrangements all made when we got there helped us to have the trip of a lifetime all over China. Most importantly, we got to ChoaHu and Zhen Gao, two remote places where we could go to my daughter's orphanage and the place where she was found. I just wanted to tell you that my trip to China was one of the most amazing experiences of my life and I could not have done it without Dragon Delight. Everyone I dealt with was simply wonderful and all of our daily activities were fun and interesting. Our guide in Beijing, Nancy, was great - very sweet and friendly. Ken in Xi'an was superior with his enthusiasm and knowledge and Mark in Shanghai was a true professional. Hotels were very nice, food was absolutely delicious. I've told my friends and family of my experience and I have recommended Dragon Delight to all of them. Also, as you know, I traveled solo and it was not a problem at all so tell any potential single travelers who are considering joining a group that new friends will await them in China! I would like to especially thank Dr. Yu the doctor on our boat for the Yangtze tour. She is a wonderful, extremely qualified and caring doctor and helped me with some knee and foot problems that might have kept me from continuing the walking part of our tour. Dr. Yu showed such kindness and professionalism that even though it was my first time doing acupuncture, I felt completely confident in her care. I'm now going to find an acupuncturist here in the United States that is familiar with Chinese medicine and begin using them for my knee and foot. Thank you Dr. Yu!

I should have got in touch with you when we completed our tour 2 weeks ago.
From all of our group, thank you and your Dragon Delight International Tour Company and colleagues for a wonderful time in China between 8th-24th March 2010.
We had an absolute ball, in fact we all agreed that we did not have one bad moment in China or, had any experience that would suggest that Dragon Delight was not one of the most professional companies we have dealt with. Everything in your quoted itinerary you delivered and more. You guides were superb. Tony in Shanghai, Frank in Yichang, Alan in Chongqing were excellent. Sheryl in Xian and Sherry in Beijing (and poor Jane who did the Jinshaling to Simatai walk with us) were fantastic- we wanted to bring them home with us. They looked after us superbly, gave us great commentary about their cities & local history, took us to great restaurants (the local food everywhere in China was a taste sensation "par excellance"),took us to great shopping places to spend a few tourist Yuan, they changed itineraries to best suit the weather conditions so we could get the best views wherever possible, and above all, took us to areas where we were the only non Chinese so we could experience a little of the what life was like for average Chinese citizen. As we are from Australia with such a hot climate, I'm sure must have Tony and Sherry arranged snow to fall for us- it was that perfect.
Your drivers were excellent as well- very curtious, helpful with out luggage, careful on the roads and surely blessed with great patience- I wouldn't drive a car in China much less a tour bus. We were so impressed with your team. The cruise on the Yangtse River on the Century Sky and all the hotels you selected for our accomodation were very good as well- full marks to all.
I will be adding comments to your testimomial spread next week so others will hear of our fantastic time with your company.
We certainly would not hesitate in recommending Dragon Delight to everyone we speak to.

We returned yesterday from an excellent trip with DDIT. My daughter and I will recommend your company to any of our friends who will be traveling to China in the future. All three guides you provided were very personable and likeable and went out of their way many times to make our trip a memorable one. All three drivers were also very good. Although they did not speak English, they were very pleasant and accomodating.
My thanks to you and Flora for providing us with a guided bicycle ride in Yangshuo on the afternnon of arrival and ahead of the rain and bad weather the next day. I commend Sally in Xian for staying with us all afternoon and well into the night at the airport, more than 8 hours, while we were waiting for information about our delayed flight, and changed our tickets so that we could fly out of Xian for Beijing that evening. She made the best out of a bad situation due to the local weather and did not leave the airport until she was sure we were departing. We also enjoyed touring with Jenny in Beijing and appreciated the pickup from the airport late at night. We did not arrive at the hotel until 1:30 am! Jenny is also very knowledgable and is one of your best guides. In addition, many thanks for adding the kung fu show, which was a spectacular performance.

Sorry for not emailing you before now, but on my return to the UK I picked up a nasty cough.
I am writing to thank you so much for organizing such a wonderful tour for us in China. My friend Chris and I had a wonderful time and will be recommending your company to friends who wish to holiday in China. The guides your arranged for us at each destination were excellent and spoke very good English. Lily in Xian and Smile in Shanghai were outstanding none thing was too much trouble for them .
The acrobatic Show which you arranged tickets for us free of charge on October 5th in Shanghai was fantastic. Thank you we did appreciate it. We were happy to stay at the Dragon River Retreat , and now think it was a better choice than the Mountain Retreat. The young girls on the reception were very good and arranged a Birthday Cake for me on Oct. 2nd.
I deeply regret not giving Smile in Shanghai a 'Tip'. I had the cash already in my pocket but completely forgot until I had gone through security at the airport. I tried to phone her mobile from my UK mobile as soon as I realized but was unable to get through. Is there any way you could forward her some money if I send it via pay pal to your company ? or what do you suggest?
I would be grateful if you can give me her address in Shanghai as I would like to write and apologise .

Hello Josh, we have returned from the most wonderful, adventurous trip to China. Everything went to plan and our tailor made tour was just amazing. It was great that we could change our plan if we needed to or even add more places of interest or attend evening performances. Even though we had a fairly full itinerary we added more to it, especially things to do in the evenings.
Our guides were absolutely marvelous and did a great job of looking after us. They made many useful suggestions to add highlights to our trip such as having an evening meal with a local family in Shangri-la and going on a bike ride and rafting in Yangshuo. Some of the guides took us to their favorite restaurants for an evening meal.
The bus drivers were very courteous and careful drivers and very helpful. The hotels were of a high standard, actually better than I anticipated.
We thank you very much Josh for arranging our tailor made tour and I can certainly recommend your company for a similar tour for anyone else.

Thanks so much for organising everything so well. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the trip. We had excellent guides in each city. The travellers especially liked Lily our Beijing guide and Philip(Wen) our national guide. They were so impressed with Wen that they even wrote a farewell song to thank him.
There was just one thing that the travellers would like me to suggest to you. Although the restaurants were great, they were a bit too far from the hotels. People were usually too tired at the end of a long day's tour to travel too far to eat.
Anyway, it was a great experience enjoyed by all. We'll definitely keep you in mind for future tours. Thanks again for your great work!
