Secret Scotland“I just wanted to let you know about the fantastic service we received from Secret Scotland! We came across the Secret Scotland website and decided to purchase their 5 day Scenic Tour around Loch Ness, Plockton etc. We also booked our accommodation through their accompanying guide. What a brilliant purchase it turned out to be! The guide was clear and concise and so accurate that we didn't need either a map or sat nav for the whole journey. They included some wonderful out-of-the-way places that we probably would never have found on our own - beautiful little waterfalls etc! They also included some 'rainy day' activities - more sites/activities than you could possibly have seen, and all carefully researched and thought through. We decided that we'd really like to have a day to go horse riding - but didn't know where. I e-mailed Mike at Secret Scotland and he recommended 2 different riding centres - one just outside Gairloch if we wanted to ride through forests, and one on Skye if we wanted dramatic scenery. We went to Skye and it was great! We stayed in a really lovely B&B in Plockton (An Caladh) and one of the highlights of the trip was definitely Dry Island in Badachro! Ian and his wife were so welcoming - and we went out on Ian's fishing boat one morning and watched him as he pulled up the creels ... it was wonderful and really brought Scotland alive for us! Thanks to Secret Scotland for one of the most memorable and stress free holidays we've ever had!! We'll be going back to Scotland next year to follow another of their guides! ”
