Itinerary

Pick up you from your hotel on departure time, and then drive to the Simatai Great Wall. The ruinous state of this part of the Wall gives it an air of authenticity that has earned it the reputation of being the most beautiful section of the Great Wall. Unlike the sections to be seen at Badaling or Mutianyu that have undergone extensive restoration, the wall at Simatai has received very little attention. Here, the wall really looks as one would expect it to look some 500 years after it was built during the Ming Dynasty.
This part of trekking is one of the most beautiful sections of the Great Wall. Today's hiking enables travelers to encounter as many as 150 watchtowers, battlements, terraces and turrets of the wall. There are sections of renovated and original wall with fantastic viewpoints.
Have traditional Chinese lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch have a short visit of Beijing cloisonné arts. Cloisonné is famous traditional enamelware with a history of over 500 years. Cloisonné is one of the famous arts and crafts of Beijing. The making of cloisonné requires rather elaborate and complicated.
Driving you back to your hotel.
