Day 1
Arrive in Shanghai
Our professional English speaking guide will escort you to the hotel upon your arrival. The guide is always willing to give you considerate suggestions for the restaurants and your other needs. Take a good break to recover from the long flight and jetlag.
Day 2
Shanghai (B/L)
Buffet breakfast at hotel. You will enjoy the historical view of Yu Garden, Jade Buddha Temple and Shanghai Museum with lunch at good local restaurants. You can choose Acrobatic Show as optional in the evening.
The Jade Buddha Temple: The most famous Buddhist temple in Shanghai.
Yu Garden: a place of peace and comfort in the heart of bustling Shanghai, dates back to the fabled Ming Dynasty.
Day 3
Shanghai/Tunxi (B)
Buffet breakfast at hotel. Visit the Wall St of Shanghai – The Bund, viewing the architecture of early 20th century and strolling along the Huangpu River, then you’ll come to one of the most famous streets in China – the Nanjing Road to expericing the mordern Shanghai. Then transfer to the railway station to catch the fast train to Huangshan. Meet and transfer to visit Tunxi Ancient Street upon your arrival. Overnight at Tunxi.
The Bund: known as a miniature museum of international architecture with dozens of high buildings standing along the shore.
Nanjing Road: the longest commercial street in China, lined with big department and specialty stores, upscale boutiques, and a variety of fine restaurants, enjoying the reputation of "China's No.1 Street"
Day 4
Tunxi/Mt. Huangshan (B/L)
Buffet breakfast at hotel, drive to the Foot of Mountain Huangshan which is famed as King of Mountains. Ascend the eastern side of Huangshan by cable with a find view of the unique landscape of Huangshan. Upon the mountain, you’ll visit the second highest peak of Huangshan – Bright Summit and other famous spots like Jade Screen Peak and Dispelling Cloud Pavilion. Overnight at the summit.
Day 5
Huangshan/Hongcun/Hangzhou (B/L)
Buffet breakfast at hotel. You’ll carry on the visit to the Lion Peak on the mountain. Then descend the mountain by cable car. Drive to visit the ancient village of Hongcun that will impress you with the ink-painting beauty and peace. Drive to Hangzhou in the late afternoon.
Hongcun & Tunxi Ancient Street: The most typical ancient town in Wannan. It is the classic symbol of Wannan culture and has been recorded as world heritage by UNESCO.
Day 6
Hangzhou (B/L)
Buffet breakfast at hotel, then drive to enjoy the fresh morning in West Lake park. Cruise on the West Lake which is the name card of Hangzhou as well as the China tour. After the boat trip, the visit to Tea Plantation will give you a chance to learn things about the production process and culture of tea.
You’ll stroll in the ancient Lingyin (Soul Retreat) Temple to sense the history of centuries and dynasties in the afternoon.
: West Lake is the symbol of Hangzhou as well as one of the most beautiful sights in China.
Lingyin Temple: one of the best known Buddhist temples in China which houses an 82 feet Buddha carved from camphor wood.
Day 7
Hangzhou/Suzhou (B/L)
After breakfast at hotel, transfer to station for bullet train to Suzhou. Upon arrival, meet and transfer to visit Humble Administrator’s Garden which is the largest of all the gardens and considered the most impressive with its zigzagging bridges, pavilions, bamboo groves and lotus ponds.
Day 8
Suzhou (B/L)
Three elements entitle Suzhou city the fame of “Oriental Venice”: water, bridges and gardens. In the morning, you’ll visit two typical delicate Suzhou Gardens ---- the Garden of the Master of the Nets & Lingering Garden. The following visit to Silk Factory will also impress you. After lunch at good local restaurant, the boat trip on the Ancient Cannal in Suzhou is the best way to experience the charm of water and bridges.
Garden of the Master of the Nets: Suzhou is famous for its the Gardens. Garden of the Master of the Nets is an elaborate succession of small gardens. In the garden you would marvel at this unique architecture art.
Lingering Garden: It is the best preserved among all the Suzhou gardens.
: Suzhou is also famous for its silk production. In the factory you can see how the silk is processed from the silk worm to the final woven cloth.
which is 1,764 km (about 1200 miles) in length, is the longest man-made waterway as well as being the greatest in ancient China.
Day 9
Suzhou/Tongli/Shanghai (B/L)
Buffet breakfast at hotel. Drive to lovely canal town of Tongli Water Town. You’ll visit sites like Gengle Tang, Pearl Pagoda and Tuisi Garden. Take a casual stroll at the ancient town before transfer you to Shanghai in the late afternoon.
Day 10
Shanghai Departure (B)
Free until transfer to the airport for your flight to your next destination.
